PM writes to Anna, says focus not just on Lokpal

PM Manmohan Singh has assured Anna Hazare by writing a letter to him and saying that the focus of the government was not just on Lokpal. PM asserted that the government was also focused on issues of electoral and land reforms but the commitment of the government remained to Lokpal, adding that they would soon be successful in it.

The Prime Minister highlighted in the letter that the government was working on an agenda to eradicate corruption and improve the system, and that Lokpal Bill was an important part of the same.
